Eagle Creek

A group of us ran the Middle section from the Fish Hatchery to the confluence with the North Fork of Eagle Creek on Feb 28. There was one portage for a log jam (we portaged left), and some other wood to dodge and duck. The level on the bridge gauge was just under 1' and this was a reasonable first time level for some novices in our group. The Middle Falls was runnable and all four of us ran it, including two people for whom it was their first waterfall. From a trip a couple weeks earlier, 1/2' was deemed lower than desireable for the waterfall.
