Pequannock

This is probably the best put-in to run the Pequannock...it is located off the Paterson Hamburg Turnpike when it goes underneath Rt. 23 just south of the macopin intake dam and Butler resevoir.
this is a little bit up river from the put-in underneath Rt. 23...forgot to mention there is a dirt parking area right along the river here with access through an opening in the guard rail
I haven't done any research, but it looks like these falls are created from the remains of a dam from and old mill. They are located just past a railroad bridge and right next to an apartment complex with plenty of parking.
