Ran the river on 11/1/2008. There is a lot of wood throughout the run. The trees are still in the last drop (see picture in photos section) so make sure you are scouting.

In Dennis Squires' excellent book (see Guide Books tab), he wrote:

YOU MUST READ THIS--The first big falls you come to has broken the backs of two people in the last several months. The people who have run it on the left side have been fine; the 2 guys that got hurt ran it more in the center. DO NOT RUN THIS 25' FALLS IN THE CENTER. For some reason (so I've heard) the first party that got hurt decided to keep it a big secret--if that is true I can't print what I think of that decision.
