Little Conemaugh

If you put in before the South Fork confluence of the Little Conemaugh at South Fork, you will have to portage a low-head dam downstream. There is a building on river right but signs mark the dam, and there is a take out by a sign river left over a path, deep mud.

There is a rapid in Echo after you pass through Mineral Point about a mile or so downstream through a canyon with a green bridge over top. You can also see some coal piles on river right. A portage would probably be on river left over the train tracks before the canyon.

I wouldn't consider it a hazard but be careful of sharp rocks and bring skills. 30 foot grade drop rockslideish into a 4-6 foot waterfall drop, big thing of water coming off of it into rock slide. Run from river right to river left through main channel, be mindful of curler wave coming right.
