Log in to add a report4-29-2011 - today's run, BFS ~6300 when we put on, about ~5800 when we took off. Very good water level. Good Wave Trains.
Red is North White Oak Creek
Yellow is the shuttle. ~35 miles and 1 hour drive time
We Paddled NOrth White Oak 3-3-2011, Leatherwood was ~5100, this was enough water, but not more than enough. The putin looked much lower when we were unwinding the shuttle.
This would be the Minimum I would consider paddling North White Oak.
We ran this section with the Leatherwood Ford Gauge at 8.75. A fair amount of scraping at this water level in my Force XL, and a couple of strainers. This is NOT a 'beginner' Class II run--lots of manuvering through boulders and a fair amount of undercut rock hazards. Wonderfully scenic.
This is at the end of O&W road.
