We ran this at about 4000 cfs BSF @ Leatherwood gauge, or 10.3 on the stick gauge at the bridge. the water was just lapping over the low water bridge at Leatherwood.

NWO Ck was not scrapey, all rapids were runnable.

Reports of this being a Class II run are greatly misinformed, IMO. There are bad undercuts in almost every turn. It is a very technical run, and while it's maybe Class II rapid difficulty without the undercuts, with them there are many Class III drops with almost no margin for error.

I would NOT put anyone on this that only had Class II skills.

That being said, this is one of the finest runs anywhere if you like the technical style of paddling and unparalleled scenery. Bluffs are taller than Clear Creek Canyon, and many large boulders in the stream a la BSF. It was like a miniature BSF without the anxiety of the Big Three (just be careful of the undercuts!)
