This year, Upper Glade has collected a lot of wood. Most importantly, there is a large tree at the bottom of Pothole Eater that goes from bank to bank and has started to collect branches and other debris. I ran it about a month ago, watched someone else swim it and made a mental note that I would not run it again. Since then, it has collected additional branches/wood and looks more dangerous. We plan on trying to remove it this summer, but it is going to be a tall task. It is going to continue to get worse, so, at least scout it.

Will update if removed.

In the Winter of 2010, the dam gave way and this stream is no longer the same. The scenic nature of it has gone way down hill. The banks continue to be unstable in several areas. There is wood all over the place. There are several rapids that did not previously exist and major changes in 'old rapids.' If you are going out expecting to run an old friend without scouting, you are wrong. Prudent boat or bank scouting is recommended. It is going to continue to change and collect more wood and the scoured banks continue to erode.
