Log in to add a reportThis rating is somewhat incorrect. The upper stretch is class IV at 1,200cfs dropping at 80fpm. Almost impossible to scout due to bank brush. At 1,600cfs Wetstate has a better description:

It is not III+ at any flow.
This is the chute below the Madesi Boat Ramp.
Unusable boat ramp build by PG&E. Use of the ramp puts paddlers at the top of an unrunnable chute.
The bottom of this rapid opens up but there are several holes to negotiate.
Long Class IV. Big holes, none too sticky.
A long busy Class III+ rapid that finishes at the Hot Springs on river left.
