Slide into a recirculating hole. 1100 cfs. Portage right. The brave can run/sneak far river left

sticky ledge hole at the bottom of a bedrock canyon. Eddy/Portage left.

Slide w/ Hole + Ledge w/ hole. Intimidating and hard to portage. Most groups find that running this rapid is much better than the portage. Right/Right is the recommended line.

Flow Report from PCWA - May 11, 2011
Flows were fluctuating between 300 & 350 cfs at Ellicott Bridge, but are around 220 on May 11.
Flows just above Ralston Afterbay are about 550 cfs.
Hell Hole Dam is expected to spill in mid June.

Backed up ledge hole and right wall is undercut. Can be run at lower flows.
