Tuckasegee, East Fork

Ran on 1/4/15 at a nice fluffy level. there was no scraping on Greenland Creek, so it must have been higher than others here have run it. There were two additional portages on top of the sieve portage. The first was a huge riverwide hemlock. It was below the elbow slide, just below where the river splits around a small island in a right hand bend. at low flows, it may be duckable. The second wood portage was in the bouldery section. there was a sieve on the right side of the rapid, and a blind-ish slot on the left. the left slot was completely blocked by a tree. We caught an eddy next to the sieve and portaged right.
