Little Wolf

There is a dangerous log nearly river wide near the bottom of a long rapid about ¼ mile upstream of the sloping rock on river left (a common lunch spot) and about 3/8 mile upstream of the County J bridge. It’s a fairly large tree. You can get through on far river left – one boat at a time. Would recommend catching eddies down this stretch which will allow you to see the log.
There were quite a few other new downed trees throughout the trip that we were able to negotiate around – mostly in the flat water sections. There are 2 new downed trees within 100 yards of the put-in on Wolf river road. Those can be seen from the bridge. The first tree we paddled around on river left. The second tree we portaged on river right.
