River Description
For a true adventure of over 200 miles from the glaciers of the Sant Elias Mountains to the mouth
of the Copper River in the Gulf of Alaska, one can begin a journey that starts at the source of the
Nizina River, continues on the next section of the [Nizina River](http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/
id/41/), then on the Chitina River, and
finally out on the Copper River.
Those who don't want to pay for the float plane to the Nizina glacier can put in downstream in
McCarthy on the Kennicott River
which is the more typical access since you can get there by road. With this option you join the Nizina
River a the end of the description described here.
