I question the use of the Independence Gauge for this creek. The Black River Hawkinsville gauge or the Fish Creek Gauge are both closer to the Cincinatti drainage. It jumps up quickly, and drops even quicker. Catch it hours after a hard day rain.

group of 10 boaters ran yesteray 6/12 at primo flow, lots of strainers/2 low footbridges, other than that Fire Up the Brown.
