Taking in the scenery and clear water, the confluence of Jackson Creek is visible downstream.

This is the largest rapid of this section on the South Umpqua. It can be easily scouted and portaged on the right.

A sign warning of a fish trap on the river. The fish trap is well placed in that it is easy to bypass.
