Clearwater

Drive up the Clearwater River with stops at access points on the way to the Lochsa.

On the way to the Selway stopped to check out Steelhead Park Access.

Lenore Rest Stop Rapid- class II -III (some whirlpools and large waves at certain flows) This is a very fun rapid that runs along side a huge eddy. Easy to put in lap after lap here. Some people call it the treadmill or conveyor belt as the eddy pulls you back to the starting beach. Water temps remain in the 50's during hot summer months as cold water from the bottom of Dworshak mixes up stream. Easy access, fun beach.
