Mineral Springs Creek
S.Ravine St. to S.Milwaukee St. (0.5 mile)
A project to reduce erosion of the stream banks and improve fish habitat was completed in spring of 2026.
While the project removed many obstructions, it also secured logs to the riverbed in a few locations to create habitat and armor the riverbed. Additionally, a huge fallen willow branch arches over the creek midway down but at present would not preclude passage. Just upstream of the bridge on S.Division Street two willows lie at an angle fully across the creek, but are high enough off the creek to allow safe passage at nearly any boatable flow.
The situation on this small creek could easily change at any time, so we still recommend that you SCOUT THOROUGHLY BEFORE RUNNING THIS CREEK!
