Bonniwell Road to Highland Road (1.2 - 2.4 miles)
The final stretch of rapids begins after passing through a driveway box-culvert. As soon as you see the powerlines, get out to scout. This twisting, sliding bedrock drop is not all that difficult (no more than class II+), but often holds wood. You can't see top-to-bottom, and there will be virtually no eddies, so you need to know that it is clear before proceeding. 'Fortunately' there are presently two LARGE trees blocking the stream between the box-culvert and the powerlines at the head of this gradient. So, as you portage those, scout the drop.
