There is a new strainer after Angel Field where the river splits. The right channel has a river wide tree across it - many branches. Some pruning would make it passable.

Also be careful of the strainer in second half of the gorge on river right. It is hard to see at this level 5.56.

There are 2 large trees down after the Gorge and after after the island split. One has many branches sticky out and is about 80% across the river starting from river right. You can get by on the left (right of island). Just get over soon enough to avoid getting caught.

I went to the Quabog yesterday with 2 friends. Level was 4.06 and dropped to 4.04 by the time we got to the take out. Watch out for strainers! The level was pretty low, so getting around the trees was not hard, and spotting them was not hard, but if the current were any pushier, I think they will become less avoidable and the potential for getting swept into them definitely increases. 4.06 is pretty low, and we got beached on rocks quite often. After Devils Gorge, there are a LOT more trees. We walked around one of them. It was a fun run, but I won't run it again at a higher level until the trees are gone.
