There is always discussions on the runnable levels of this gem nestled in the foothills to the Berkshires. Well that depends on who you ask. AWW has the minimum at 800-900cfs. It has been run as low as 300-400 but you pick your way through the channels. Since the floods of the last few years the river has channeled out more so 600-700 can be fluid enough. At 1000-1500 the river becomes real nice and from 1500 and up it is spectacular. This stretch of water can pick up wood and trees often so always scout riverbends and drops. A true Gem!
