Paddled the section from Hwy 200 bridge to Hwy 287 bridge at about 2,000CFS on Memorial Day weekend 2021. We had a 13' raft, a canoe, and a 2 person IK. There were 2 barbed wire fences stretching across the entire river. One of them was *passable* by unrigging the boats and leading them through with a rope. The other required a full portage. High flows and swift water make this very dangerous. We had keen eyes and an experienced crew and had no problems. But it is worth watching out for. Beautiful stretch of water though.
