There are reports of a new dangerous barbed wire fence very close to and just upstream of Highway 287.

2011-05-29: Strainer tree is no longer there.

Large strainer (tree across river) 3-4 miles below the Hwy 200 bridge (middle section of the Dearborn). Easy to stop and walk the boat under at low flows, but could be problematic or require a portage around during higher spring flows.
