Wausau Whitewater Park incorporates more than twelve beautiful natural and engineered features along 1/3 mile of the Wisconsin River in the heart of downtown Wausau, WI. Dam releases during events assure consistent flows and the formation of prime features ranging from Class II to III+ throughout the course. Flatwater and gentle Class I can also be found at the top and bottom of the course to warm-up, practice skills and polish combat rolls. The course is open during Recreational Releases each day 10AM-4PM. Rec Release $20/day or $30/weekend, on-site registration only.
