Accident Description

Mike Bielinsky vioa FB: I believe they are actually reporting on the Great Miami or also called Miami Whitewater. From all that we heard it was a 60yr old paddler that dumped. No strainer or hurdraulic from a low head dam were involved. She was wearing a pfd. Paddlers immediately attended to her and performed CPR. The river is mostly 1’s & 2’s with one spot occasionally a 3. They don’t recommend running it over 6,000cfs and I believe she was on it at the higher end.

Eric Juday via FB: If you map the address in the article it takes you to the Whitewater River in Harrison Ohio. A popular canoeing class II river. It's a tributary of the Great Miami.
