Accident Description

41 year old Joseph Paul Bailey drowned on the lower Yuba River at Daguerre Dam on May 29, 2005. He was rafting with his two sons. When the raft went over the dam and he pushed his kids out of the boat and saved their lives. They did not have life vests, nor did they see the safety cable warning for the dam. They were camping at Sycamore Ranch in Browns Valley.
