One hospitalized in July 4th rafting accident
Reporting from KPAX in Missoula
One woman continues to recover from injuries she sustained after her raft slammed into a log jam on the Flathead River on the Fourth of July holiday. Flathead County Deputies tell us a raft collided with a log jam Friday near the Coal Creek Campground, throwing the woman into the water and trapping her under some logs. Emergency responders were able to rescue her, and they performed CPR and then transported her to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. At last check, she is said to be in stable condition. There's no word whether she was wearing a life jacket.
