Mark Your Calendars–AW Fundraiser in CA April 6th

On Saturday April 6th, 2013, California Canoe & Kayak and Jackson Kayak will host a day of whitewater fun in Coloma, CA to benefit American Whitewater. The day will be filled with whitewater clinics for everyone and a BBQ, raffle, music, and whitewater slideshows afterwords.

Pro kayakers from Jackson Kayak will be there to teach whitewater clinics throughout the day. All clinics will be $69, except for a kids clinic at $39, and all proceeds from the clinics will go to American Whitewater's work to protect America's endangered rivers. There will also be a BBQ party, including beverages by Ninkasi Brewing, a raffle with prizes from Sweet Helmets, Kokatat, Jackson Kayak, and more. Following the clinics there will be live music by BrodRob, and slideshows featuring whitewater in Japan by Daniel Brasuell and Argentina by Darin McQuoid.

This party will be held at the California Canoe & Kayak Outpost in Coloma (7221 Highway 49 Lotus, California 95651). Space is limited in the clinics–be sure to sign up here soon!! Please come help support American Whitewater and let's all have a great time paddling together on April 6th, 2013!
