Keeping the waiting line down at the First Break wave Ken & Alicia enjoy the day
Alicia tears up the pipeline wave showing the kayakers how it’s done.
Barry had a really good ride, looks like 5.8ft is the best level to surf this wave.
Perfect surfing for open boats

Seldom Seen is good from 8ft to 9ft give or take a little. I have heard that when the tide is high there is eddy service to the hole but I have never seen it.
This is the most popular takeout, you can get here after running Pipeline, Rattlesnake and Powerline. This location is just past the Mayo Bridge (14th Street).

This is the main drop in Powerdunk. It's around a 5ft drop that is very aerated and mystery moves are possible.

This is Scott running the boof move at the second drop in Triple Drop. The normal move is the slot move to river right.

At levels around 4ft the Pipeline play spot is good for cartwheels. This picture is of Van Nall doing endless cartwheels.

Kemp getting some air off the lip of the wave at the top of Hollywood
A wonderful shot of some of the rocks on the James that are TOTALLY covered with bird crap! How Lovely!
The James even has a little creeky section! Sorry I can't remember what the level was - it was kinda in between good levels if I remember correctly - not low enough, and not high enough for really good play. This little creeky area is between Pipeline and Triple Drop

This image is the left side of fish ladder. The paddler is Boofing the damn. This line is not recommended for beginners since surfes here are long and nasty.
