Log in to add an alertLeidel Campground is open for day-use only until further notice by WDFW. Paddlers can access the river but are asked not to camp. The agency signed the campground on 5/4 prior to opening the site to the public but all the signs were gone the next day.
So, we decided to raft the klick yesterday. Everything was pretty straight forward, until you got the 3rd island where you MUST stay left. The right side there is a log jam, and somebody in a CAT lost is boat to this mess. We almost slammed into it as well, but we got lucky there were people on shore we could toss a throw bag too.
