Gallia Mine River Access to Forks of Salmon(NF Canyon Run)
There's a slow approach to this ledge at this flow due to a barely submerged rock in the approach that slows the current just as you want speed for the launch. The hole at the base of the ledge is known as Mary's Hole, named for Mary DeRiemer's memorably long surf here once; the river left cliff wall and the boulder on river right lock in wayward sidesurfers.
