<p>The first pourover is potentially the 'stickiest'. Look closely at cement at right edge of photo to see shallow cement in the river. The cement bottom slopes back toward the drop from here! This makes the hydraulic recirculate back toward the drop from that point! You have to paddle UPHILL to get out of the backwash!</p>
