Highly recommend loading the "Full Resolution" image in the gallery to see the underpinnings of this bridge, which extend well-below the lannon stone facing of the bridge. Standing on or immediately next to the bridge,it may look like there is plenty of clearance, but these underpinnings may be barely out of the water (or in the water!) as flows go above 550-600 cfs.
