Honey Creek (Menomonee Trib)
*Check wood alert!* Honey Creek Pkwy. to Menomonee R. (1.76+2.14 miles)

Downstream of the final hydraulic jump, and around the bend (after the gabion wall), as you come to a gravel and rocky shoals, a tree has fallen from the highly eroded shore. (Photo is looking upstream.) At low-boatable flows, it will block any possibility of getting past on water, necessitating beaching, doing a short portage around the right (left in photo), and remounting to continue. At higher flows, it should become possible to paddle over the trunk at river-left (right side of photo), however additional wood may accumulate here, making that a dicey proposition as well.
