Alcovy

New wood is several of the ledges above the bridge. There is also wood in the first section of rapids on the right side just below the bridge. Scout all the ledges for wood and limbs as you paddle the lower section of the River.
The level was 1.3 today 1/24/12 Use the USGS gauge below Covington for reference to this section.

There is a log strainer on far river right below the last drop. it is wedged in between the bank and the under cut rock in the river.

There is a log also in the big eddie in the middle of horse shoe ledge.
advise scouting there is a lot of wood on the move below the big pool.
